Investigation:
During the investigation stage of this project, I picked out my most used skin care products and drew them individually. One in pen and one in pencil.
I then did 4 small thumbnail sketches of them in groups using different angles.
Development:
Using different medias I drew and painted them using the different angles to experiment and see what I wanted to move forward with into my final piece. I did a watercolour, an acrylic and a coloured pencil. I enjoyed using the different medias, but after careful consideration, I decided that coloured pencil was where I was most comfortable.
Final piece:
In my final piece I drew a bigger size of the angle that appealed to me the most. Using bright colours and exaggerated shading to make the picture pop.
I don't wear makeup, however my skin care is a big part of my daily routine, so this project captures who I am very well
