Pop Out Tree

For this piece, we had to draw a picture of our choice, in pencil really lightly and shade and add exaggerated darkness in the darker areas. We then took the image to the photocopiers where I photocopied double sided on 2 sheets of card.
We then cut the pictures in different ways ready to layer. Then, using nails and a hammer, I pinned them to the wall and started layering the cut outs on top of the picture in unusual ways. This was the final outcome:
